Calls on magicjack was fine till the new firewall with verizon, now a blocked packet shows when trying to make a call. The phone does not ring in the earpiece, but the phone rings on the other end.They can here me but I can’t here them. How do I allow the blocked packet to pass through the firewall. Phone works fine with windows firewall. Brad

I bought the MagicJack thing and it said that you could make calls local and long distance for free but it just wont call Mexico

Thinking of ordering Magic Jack. I’m technically challenged and need to understand all the ramifications of ordering it. Does dsl service just come through the wall phone jacks in the house, so that the computer stays hooked up to the phone jack - and I still pay the phone co. (my dsl service provider) for the dsl?
